ACCR Plus Pilot Project

The College has been working with consultants and volunteer registrants to explore possible revisions to the Quality Assurance Program (QAP). The result is an exciting pilot project where selected registrants will be able to try out a different competence screening and assessment process from the usual Annual Continuing Competence Review activities.

Here’s How it Works

In April 2023, a select number of occupational therapists will be notified of the opportunity to participate in the ACCR Plus Pilot Project. The College’s QAP aims to assist registrants in reflecting on and improving their professional performance, regardless of role, practice context, or geographical location. For this reason, the pilot will include occupational therapists from all practice contexts, such as those who view their work as non-clinical or work in a mixed or unique role.

Selected registrants will receive additional reading materials and can attend a live webinar to ask questions. During the pilot project, registrants may inform the College that they wish to opt out of the ACCR Plus and would prefer to continue the ACCR activities to meet their 2023-24 registration renewal requirements.

Registrants selected for this opportunity can expect an email in their inbox by April 14.
