Primary care changes are coming to all areas of BC! What does this mean? How is this impacting practice now? What are the plans for the future? How can we ensure OT is a valued member on these teams?

CAOT-BC is pleased to bring together a panel of presenters so we can learn and discuss what the changes to primary care mean in general and for Occupational Therapy in particular. We will hear from the Ministry of Health, UBC, front line occupational therapists who are living the changes, and one of our colleagues with a strong understanding of the background surrounding this reform.

CAOT President, Dr. Catherine Backman and CAOT CEO, Hélène Sabourin are in BC and want to cOnnecT with BC members. Hear an update on the strategic plan and learn about primary care reform across Canada.

Eat lunch while enjoying a special presentation of a research-based theatre performance brought to you by UBC

CAOT-BC will present highlights of this year’s activities, followed by the Citation Awards presentation. The day will culminate with Janice Duivestein as the recipient of the 2019 Outstanding OT of the Year award.
