COTBC invites you to learn about the critical challenges faced by seniors and the pressing health care issues that affect the quality of their health and wellness. Reports released by the Office of the Seniors Advocate provide compelling evidence that our approach needs to change. Isobel Mackenzie will be joined by panel members who will explore the occupational therapy perspective: Dr. Ben Mortenson Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy; Giovanna Boniface, National Director of Professional Affairs and Managing Director, CAOT-BC; and Andrea Bowden, Director, Practice and Policy, COTBC.

CAOT-BC will present highlights of CAOT-BC activities, followed by the presentation of the Citation Awards. The day will culminate with Dr. Susan Forwell’s presentation as this year’s winner of CAOT-BC 2017 Outstanding OT of the Year award.
