At the January 31, 2015 Board Meeting, Diane Graham, after three consecutive years as chair, passed the baton onto Darlene Russell. Diane did an excellent job and is looking forward to her continued participation on the Continuing Competence Committee and perhaps a little more time for the ski hills.

Darlene had served as the vice-chair and is now looking forward to her new leadership position. Naz Chow who has been a board member since 2009 was elected vice-chair. Read more about our new chair and vice-chair and other board members.

A standing agenda item for the Board’s January meeting is to wish a fond farewell to those who are completing their terms and welcome the new.

• Sharon Apsey, one of three public board members, has stepped down from the Board but happily will continue as a public representative on the Inquiry Committee.
• Angenita Gerbracht served on both College committees and the Board for over 12 years. Her diligence and dedication will be missed and she hopes to return to serve on a committee in the future.
• Joy Parsons is just starting on the Board and will sit on the Registration Committee. Her MBA and 20+ years experience as an occupational therapist will be great assets to the Board.
